Creative culinary event Night Feast is returning to Brisbane Powerhouse this spring, set to serve up a delectable selection of flavours to savour, from Brisbane’s leading chefs, top restaurants, and eateries – plus, art to digest and music to dance to.

The vibrant feasting menu is paired with immersive art and music, the event set within the lush surrounds of Brisbane Powerhouse. Food and culture fans are invited to dine under the stars, by the Brisbane River. Crowd favourites like Donna Chang, Gerard’s, Southside, LouisB, Lek’s Thai, Ngon, NOTA, Anchalee’s, Hoy Pinoy, Wonderbao, La Mano, Bugster’s and Mary Mae’s all return this year.
Mediterranean and Lebanese institution Byblos adds some extra seasoning; plus there’s Newstead neighbourhood laneway kitchen Allonda; the world-famous Gelato Messina serving a bespoke treat; authentic Mexican eatery Cartel del Taco; a collaboration between Diviners and Saville Row; the Latin-inspired Calida; and new kid on the block, Central.
The 2024 event also sees the return of the stunning Sapporo Izakaya ‘stay-drink-place’, in a new iteration, the Sapporo Izakaya x Boom Boom Room. There’ll be a selection of brews, expertly paired with a menu from Japanese restaurant and bar, Boom Boom Room.
There won’t just be food here. Night Feast will also feature a rich programme of free art and music, as well as the new city-wide Melt Festival of Queer Art And Culture.

On Brisbane Powerhouse’s facade will be an outdoor installation commissioned especially for Night Feast, from contemporary artist and designer Leeroy New. Plus, there’s be a commission from artist Dr Christian Thompson AO – a large-scale photographic work mounted on the brick exterior.
The rhythmic beats of QUIVR DJs will keep the vibes high throughout, too.
“Night Feast showcases our culinary artists but is also a celebration of creativity in all its forms,” Brisbane Powerhouse CEO and Artistic Director Kate Gould says. “With the addition of Melt Festival from 23 October, it will be an exhilarating month of festival activity in Brisbane.”
Night Feast is on at Brisbane Powerhouse from 16 October-10 November.
