Brisbane Fringe Festival has extended artists and venue registrations until 21 June.
Now in it’s fourth year, the Brisbane Fringe Festival (15-30 Aug) is not-for-profit and is open access (open to any artists that register), and aims to celebrate and facilitate Brisbane’s burgeoning local arts scene. There is a ‘no boundaries’ policy and no creative limits are imposed on participants.
All genres of music are welcome, as are theatre, spoken word/ poetry, circus, visual arts, cabaret, comedy and workshop events. The festival is also flexible with regard to venues – the more unconventional, the better!
In 2014, Brisbane Fringe Festival presented over 130 events all over Brisbane. This year, with a team of dedicated staff and producers, the festival is set to engage Brisbane audiences once again with its unique and exciting programme.
