Ben Hart's Real Magic At Adelaide Fringe

Ben Hart in 'Belief?'
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

Ben Hart is a magician, an illusionist, a West End star, Edinburgh Cabaret Award nominee and he will blow your mind.

Ben, when not doing his own gigs is also part of the show ‘Impossible’ (think 'The Illusionists').

A teller of tall tales, mad inventor and sleight-of-hand master, Ben’s performances are a dark, beautiful, baffling and wickedly funny treasure trove of impossible mysteries, visual alchemy, outrageous lies and brutal honesty. Magic shows just aren't supposed to be this... real.

At the age of 16, Ben won the Magic Circle's Young Magician of the Year and is a Member of The Inner Magic Circle with Gold Star. Now 26, he lives in London, where he performs, writes and invents magic. Ben’s role as magic designer has seen him create special effects and impossible illusions for theatre, film and television.

His one-man show 'The Outsider' played the Edinburgh Fringe festival in 2013 to rave reviews and was nominated for the Time Out TO&ST Cabaret award.

Ben is one of the performers in 'Impossible' – a live magic spectacular that has played to packed houses in Singapore, Beirut, Dubai and two consecutive years in London's West End. He can be found performing his astonishing close-up magic at private parties across the world and has performed for celebrities, royalty and heads of state at just about every kind of event imaginable...

Ben Hart plays Parasol Lounge at Gluttony 16 February-18 March.
