Artist Callout – aMBUSH Gallery Wants You For Their Poster Prize And Exhibition

The Hero's Journey
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

Australian-based visual artists, graphic designers and digital agencies are being called upon by the New South Wales/ACT aMBUSH Gallery for entries to their upcoming prize and exhibition, The Hero's Journey.

The Hero's Journey is a time capsule exhibition and social experiment in one, exploring the turbulent times on 2020.

Artists will be able to express how they're heeding the call of this important time in world history, by documenting their experiences in the form of a poster. How does daily life feel? What does it look like? Is there treasure to be salvaged, and lessons to be learnt? What will life look like once we emerge from this tumultuous year?

Fifty finalists will be featured in an online exhibition, with a physical exhibition in November at the aMBUSH gallery space in Canberra (restrictions permitting).

One winner will be selected by an independent panel to receive AU$3,000 in prize money.

Click here for information on how to enter.

Entries close 10 September, with finalists announced 1 October and the winner announced 15 October.
