What was that? You've never seen one before? Well, have no fear. For those of you in Sydney, you're sure in for an artsy treat.
Sydney will be celebrating it's 12th year of Art & About with a theme akin to airing one's laundry in the streets with it's theme private lives... public places.
Over the next four weeks, Snailovation by the Cracking Art Group will see 24 gigantic neon snails make their way across some of the city’s most iconic public spaces.
And that's not even all of it. With graphic novels projected onto giant screens, puppeteers on trains, Hyde Park being transformed into a maze of mirrors, street banners, interactive live street dance and parkour performances for kids on playground equipment, and some 28 more events going on, the people of Sydney will hardly recognise they city they're so familiar with.
Art & About Sydney will be happening from Fri September 20 to Sun October 20.
