Expressions of interest are now open for performance makers and presenters to be a part of Anywhere Festival in Queensland in 2021.
Anywhere Festival is a two-and-a-half week festival of arts, from comedy, dance, theatre, circus and music. . . All happening anywhere but a theatre – whether that be in backyards, a hedge maze, a light house, someone's driveway and anywhere in between and beyond!
The event has been running in Brisbane for ten years, on the Sunshine Coast and Noosa for four years, and now will open applications for performances in Ipswich and Moreton Bay.
"Anywhere Festival is created with artists at the core," Anywhere Artistic Director Paul Osuch says. "That’s why most performance spaces are provided rent free, why we limit the size of the festival so shows have the best chance of selling out and why we spend so much time assisting with the creative development of shows and finding the right locations."

The festival will take COVID-19 into account, making it easier for artists to continue the creation of their work even if restrictions change.
"This year we’ll be running an online programme open worldwide that connects with international festivals so that local shows can reach an international audience."
All genres are welcome for the festival, and any location!
