The beauty of the After Hours Cabaret Club is we have a rotating core cast, so you never quite know what to expect when you walk through our doors. You can't go past our MC, and cabaret superstar Tash York. Tash manages to keep all of us on time and in line... During the show that is. Not only does she MC the entire event with a wine in hand, she is the main vocalist in our live band! That rhymed, you're welcome. Tash really is a cabaret sensation, from improv songs about audience members to belting notes with our incredible musicians, her voice hits you right where you want it from the get go.
Another favourite of mine is our resident vaudevillian David Splatt. David is a world class clown, mime and marionette puppeteer who will melt your heart, and probably steal your wallet for a whisky or two at the bar. Look out for his pal Frankie Bones, he is an absolute show stealer and dances rings around the rest of us.
Kelly Ann Doll is our swing dancing, burlesque pocket rocket! This five foot red head moves faster than a wind up doll, with more tricks that a Vegas magician! You never know what mood Kelly Ann Doll is in, or how many whisky's she has had before the show. So hold on to your drinks, and your partners.
We host some of the worlds best sideshow entertainers, including our resident freak Samora Squid. Samora is exactly as he sounds, bendy, rubbery and very flexible... In fact he is the world's tallest contortionist and a regular at 'The After Hours Cabaret Club'! Just for kicks, he swallows a 55cm sword in the opening four minutes of the show!
I could go on and on about our spectacular acts, and I will! Clara Cupcakes, Jacqueline Furey, Ruby Slippers, Reuben DotDotDot, Raven, Memphis Mae, Luke Hubbard, Gingzilla, and Bridgette Cains are just some of the 'After Hours' regulars! You never know who is going to turn up at the club.
