AFTRS Open Day 2018: Storytellers Wanted!

AFTRS Open Day
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

The Australian Film Television and Radio School is searching for people from across Australia to become the next generation of great Australian screen storytellers.

If you think this might be you, don’t miss AFTRS Open Day this August. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about AFTRS 2019 Courses, meet the School’s professional tutors, hear from alumni who have used AFTRS courses to launch successful careers, see AFTRS state-of-the-art facilities in action, and get valuable tips about putting together your 2019 application.

AFTRS offers a range of courses in 2019: Masters Programs (in 11 Disciplines), the Bachelor of Arts Screen: Production, recently launched Industry Certificates as well as industry short courses and introductory short courses.

To help make it possible to study at AFTRS, the school offers a range of Scholarships. These include: equity, indigenous, a Virgin Australia scholarship for students outside NSW, and the recently launched Storytelling Scholarship to support the telling of Australian stories. This scholarship is offered on the basis of merit to one Bachelor of Arts Screen or Master of Arts Screen student and covers all tuition fees for the duration of the course.

Interested? AFTRS Open Day Attendance is free, just make sure you register. And if you register and come along on the day, you’ll be in the running to win a $500 short course voucher (valid for 12 months).

AFTRS Open Day takes place on 11 August at Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park from 10am-3:30pm. Register online to attend.
