Global art phenomenon Affordable Art Fair is soon to return to Melbourne with its largest celebration of art to date, over four inspiring and uplifting days.


Up to 70 Australian and international galleries will participate in the fifth annual Melbourne fair, with thousands of original works for sale under the World Heritage-listed dome of the Royal Exhibition Building. Pieces will be priced between $100-$10,000.

The 2025 event is set to welcome new artists and galleries, heralding the return of fan favourites, showcasing the next generation, featuring interactive exhibitions and live painting experiences, and more.

“The 2025 Melbourne Fair will be the largest and most ambitious we’ve held in Australia, which is a testament to the growing popularity and accessibility of the event,” Director Georgia Heustis says.

“The Fair is a welcoming and vibrant space where art buyers can learn more about each piece, talk to gallerists, watch artists in action, hear from experts and immerse themselves in an array of styles, genres and mediums.”

Brunswick Street Gallery in Fitzroy is new to the Melbourne Art Fair this year, It will represent emerging and established artists in partnership with leading Indigenous art centre. Plus, there’s the iconic Ken Duncan Photography, and Victoria’s Cascade Art Gallery.

Collectors will be thrilled to hear that Ken Duncan OAM has hand-picked a series of classic and never-before-seen landscapes, spanning a four-decade-long career.

Other highlights to expect this year include the Manyung Gallery Group, one of Australia’s largest and longest-running contemporary art businesses. . . Plus Salt Contemporary in Queenscliff, Hamley Studio of Fine Art in Hornsby NSW, and Greenbridge Gallery.

International artists will have a strong presence in 2025. Galleries include China’s Tree Art Space, Korea’s Mookji, Malaysia’s Art WeMe Contemporary Gallery, Singapore’s REDSEA, Peru’s Diverso, and AM Art Gallery Collective and VANDAL LTD from New Zealand.

After celebrating success at Brisbane’s event, The Toowoomba Gallery, Yandina’s Stevens Street Gallery, inner-Brisbane’s Revival Art & Design Gallery and Aspire Gallery hit Melbourne. . . Plus, returning are the Artist In Action live art-making demonstrations, with an incredible line-up of creatives including three-time Archibald finalist Sally Ryan.
