Adelaide Fringe Calling For 2021 Poster Design

L-R, Top-Bottom: Glimpses of the 2020, 2019 and 2018 Adelaide Fringe posters.
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

The Adelaide Fringe Poster Design competition is officially open.

All wishing to compete and have their design picked have until 12 July to submit their best work for the iconic competition.

"Adelaide Fringe is a huge explosion of colour and creativity for all to experience," Fringe Director and CEO Heather Croall says.

"Across February and March, Adelaide puts on its best face with the magic of Fringe – it’s a time that makes our hearts sing."

Entry to the competition is free, and open to everyone! The design must demonstrate flexibility in a number of ways including being reproduced in a range of sizes, formats, and black and white.

A $3000 cash prize, plus free registration to stage an event or exhibition at Fringe 2021, is awarded to the winning design.

It will be used as the cover of the Fringe guide and across the festival's merchandise, posters, programme booklets, signage and box offices.

"Fringe time is unlike any other,” Heather continues. "We are on the lookout for artwork that captures the love and pride that people have for the Fringe, a design that celebrates the transformation of the city to make it the best time of the year."

Check out the 2020 winner here. Entries for 2021 close on 12 July.
