Plunge into a wicked tale of mortal sin and the modern world with Natalie Weir's 'Seven Deadly Sins'.
Embodying wrath, greed, sloth, pride, lust, envy and gluttony, the Expressions Dance Company ensemble of award-winning dancers will take you on a debauched journey through the seven deadly sins in this edgy, premiere production, spiced with villainous wit. The centrepiece of EDC's 2015 season, 'Seven Deadly Sins' will be the fifth signature collaboration between EDC and Queensland Performing Arts Centre.

Company dancer Elise May will portray 'Lust' in the performance, and has conjoured up her Top 5 most sinful confessions:
Confession #1 Gluttony
I have deep-set dark chocolate addiction. The darker the better. I have been known (on occasion) to consume chocolate at breakfast.Confession #2 Lust
My teenage crush was on actor Stephen Dorf (From the 'The Power of One' and 'Blade'). I had a picture cut-out on my school folder.Confession #3 Envy
At one stage I wished I would close my eyes and wake up as the beautiful vampire warrior Selene (Kate Bekinsale) in 'Underworld'. I've always wished for the excuse to wear a full set of leather like hers, but alas, no opportunity has presented itself (as yet).Confession #4 Sloth
My all-time, ultimate lazy Sunday pursuit is to stay in bed (at least until midday), and venture out only to the fridge for supplies, and then bunker down in my PJ's for a movie marathon.Confession #5 Pride
One of my favourite movies (that I confess I have watched on repeat) is Joe Wright's version of 'Pride & Prejudice' with Kiera Knightly. I do love a good old-fashioned period drama! My friend and fellow dancer at EDC Jack Zeising gave me a copy of the book 'Pride & Prejudice & Zombies' which I also love. Very entertaining.'Seven Deadly Sins' will perform QPAC from the 21-29 August.
