What do you do?
I am a writer. I work for Beehive PR as Head Of Buzz and am a freelance writer including Heavy Music. I’m also working on some creative writing projects.
Why do you do it?
I love writing and music. So putting those two passions together to make a living is awesome fun.
What do you love about the city you live in?
In Melbourne, there is always a gig on and a place open to eat and drink. Plus the diversity of culture throughout the city means there are always new things to do and try.
Where did you go for your last holiday?
Sydney. It’s such a pretty city and I really liked catching up with friends in Newtown.
What's your favourite item of clothing? Why?
Jeans. Because it’s a fashion classic in whatever style or trend.
What was your favourite TV show when you were a kid?
There were so many good TV shows in the ’90s, but 'The Simpsons' was at its peak then and I still watch old episodes today.
If you could travel back in time for a day, where would you go?
I’d go straight to London in 1985 to see Queen at the Live Aid concert. Freddy Mercury’s performance was epic.
If we were coming over to your place, what would you cook us?
Lately, I’ve been making spanakopitas and toubili. I love the fresh and zesty flavours.
What's the best lesson you've ever learned?
I have found that breaking out of my comfort zone has always led to my greatest experiences in life. From living in London and traveling on my own to returning to university and completing a writing degree.
Tell us one thing about yourself that nobody else knows...
Not many people know that I am a qualified scuba dive-master.
How do you define success?
Being able to enjoy what I do everyday and being comfortable within my home.
What's your spirit animal?
A wolf. They’re pack animals and I’m a social person. And they howl at the moon and I have a tattoo on my shoulder of Jim Morrison’s lyrics ‘Let’s swim to the moon’.
