What do you do?
I’m a rock & roll jihadist and dream weaver. Besides that I look after band's radio and media outcomes. Consultancy and project management. On a good day I help facilitate various things, such as helping out with a music publishing deal and/ or hooking them up with a booking agent. I help put things together and guide them through the murky waters of the music business.
Why do you do it?
Failed school and music took me in.
What do you love about the city you live in?
Despite all of the constant moaning about Sydney… it’s energetic and cosmopolitan. It’s a surf city and I love that.
Where did you go for your last holiday?
El Salvador and Nicaragua.
What's your favourite item of clothing? Why?
My old, leather jacket and my non-brand board shorts. Because they feel good.
What was your favourite TV show when you were a kid?
If you could travel back in time for a day, where would you go?
Mid '60s. Great music, free love and counterculture. Win win.
If we were coming over to your place, what would you cook us?
Pasta sauce that takes 2.5 hours to slowly cook. My parents are Italian immigrants. Bring some wine over when I invite you.
What's the best lesson you've ever learned?
Don’t be a sheep and don’t follow the flock. Question authority. Don’t be materialistic and be a straight shooter.
Tell us one thing about yourself that nobody else knows...
I had a sex change operation in Thailand. It didn’t work out so I switched back.
Are you happy with your work/ life balance?
That’s a modern question. Yes. But saying that I’ve worked incredibly hard over the years. If you take short cuts in life it tends to catch up on you.
How do you define success?
By doing my own thing.
What's your spirit animal?
Maybe a Goat. But if I could create a hybrid, I’d be a cat with wings.
