What do you do?
I'm a photographer.
Why do you do it?
It's a way to show how I see the world and stop time to appreciate beauty in the ordinary.
What do you love about the city you live in?
I recently moved to Brisbane and find the city filled with opportunities. The art scene is blooming due to the laid-back and unpretentious attitude of Brisbanites, love it!
Where did you go for your last holiday?
Last holiday was spent road tripping around the North Island of New Zealand with some friends before arriving to Australia. We drove from Wanganui to Auckland, went to Big Day Out and had a blast!
What's your favourite item of clothing? Why?
I've carried this nana style flower print scarf around for years now. It's full of holes and slightly shabby but I love it. It's the one item that always makes it my suitcase.
What was your favourite TV show when you were a kid?
No one will get the reference, but there was this show in Quebec (Canada) about a princess who wanted to become an astronaut. She was really cool and didn't care about being a princess, pretty bad-ass.
If we were coming over to your place, what would you cook us?
I'd invite you over for a boozy brunch, crepes are my specialty (with real maple syrup, of course). Apple and cheddar, banana, strawberry crepes, you name it.
What's the best lesson you've ever learned?
The importance of owning your own tools (thanks Dad!)
Are you happy with your work/ life balance?
I'm working on blurring the line between the two, it's my ultimate goal.
How do you define success?
Spending most of my time doing what I enjoy.
What's your spirit animal?
