This week is Ed's 12th week at #1 on the Albums Chart, Halsey returns with 'Hopeless Fountain Kingdom' and 'Despacito' holds up at #1 for a fourth consecutive week.

This week's album chartifacts

#1: Ed Sheeran ‘÷’ – Ed Sheeran’s third album ÷ hits its twelfth week at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart.
#2: Halsey ‘Hopeless Fountain Kingdom’ (debut) – American artist Halsey scores her second consecutive #2 debut on the ARIA Albums Chart with 'Hopeless Fountain Kingdom'. The follow-up to 'Badlands' (#2 September ’15) features the single ‘Now Or Never’ (#16 April ’17), as well as collaborations with Sia, Quavo, Cashmere Cat and more.
#3: Pete Murray ‘Camacho’ (debut) – Singer-songwriter Pete Murray returns with his first studio album in six years, 'Camacho'. Murray’s fifth album is the follow-up to 'Blue Sky Blue' (#6 September ’11). Murray last charted with the companion album 'Blue Sky Blue - The Byron Sessions' (#17 February ’13).
#4: Alt-J ‘Relaxer’ (debut) – The third album from Alt-J gives the British trio their third top ten appearance on the ARIA Charts. Relaxer is the follow-up to 'This Is All Yours' (#2 September ’14). Several tracks feature guest vocals from Ellie Rowsell of Wolf Alice.
#5: All Time Low ‘Last Young Renegade’ (debut) – Baltimore pop punk band All Time Low claim their second top ten on the ARIA Albums Chart with 'Last Young Renegade'. The group’s seventh album comes two years on from 'Future Hearts' (#4 April ’15). In between studio albums, All Time Low released the live album 'Straight To DVD II: Past, Present, and Future Hearts' (#22 September ’16).

#1: Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee Feat. Justin Bieber ‘Despacito’ – Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee’s Justin Bieber-featured track ‘Despacito’ holds #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart for a fourth consecutive week.
#3: Niall Horan ‘Slow Hands’ – Moving up five spots in its fifth week in the top 50, ‘Slow Hands’ takes over from ‘This Town’ (#5 October ’16) as Niall Horan’s highest solo peak.
#5: Liam Payne Feat. Quavo ‘Strip That Down’ – With a jump of four spots, Liam Payne hits the top five for the first time as a solo artist. He becomes the fourth ex-One Direction member to do so.
