A celebration of all things loud, Brisbane will welcome a new festival to the calendar this spring when Halloween Hysteria is headlined by The Bennies and King Parrot.
With 30 bands spread across 3 stages, Halloween Hysteria celebrates all facets of the heavy, thrash, stoner and indie sets alongside punk, heavy metal, metalcore and even acoustic offerings.
With stoner legends The Bennies and thrash metallers King Parrot headlining the line-up, other notable acts on the bill include punk legends Hard-Ons, metalcore upstarts Alpha Wolf, rising stars Bad Juju, Singaporean rockers Exhibitors, demonic metallers Whoretopsy and indie darlings Press Club.
The event will be themed around Halloween, with organisers planning plenty of 'scares' for punters.
This is the first event organised by Hysteria Media, publishers of alternative music news and magazine site HysteriaMag.com. "Hysteria and our readers are lovers of all things loud and we wanted to give people who love this music an event they won't forget," Hysteria Editor-in-Chief and event organiser Joey McGahey says.
Scenestr is proud to be the media partner of Halloween Hysteria.
"We've got the best of punk rock, metal, metalcore, acoustic music and everything in between. We think music lovers in Brisbane and all over Australia will love what we have in store."
Tickets go on sale at 10am, 12 July. Visit Moshtix for more information.
