Two Door Cinema Club and Flight Facilities headline 2019 Grapevine Gathering.
We can’t keep this bottled up any longer! Grapevine Gathering is back and just as full-bodied as ever with a 2019 line-up featuring Two Door Cinema Club, Flight Facilities, Crooked Colours, Mallrat and much more.
Following the sold-out events in NSW and Victoria last year, Grapevine Gathering is now expanding to WA, so Perth wine and music lovers can get their fix later this year.
Having last toured Australia in 2017, Two Door Cinema Club are a welcome addition to the Grapevine line-up. With a new album ('False Alarm') dropping 21 June, wine lovers can expect all their favourites and a bunch of new tunes guaranteed to have them moving.
Riding high on their continual trajectory into the stratosphere, Flight Facilities will return with their full live show after a string of successful collaborations with Broods, Owl Eyes, Reggie Watts and Dustin Tebbutt. “We're playing Grapevine for the first time ever!” beams Flight Facilities.
“[We're] bringing some of our friends and collaborators along for the ride too. There’s something special about escaping the city to play regional towns and outdoor stages we’ve never been to before.”
Hot off the back of a national, sold-out tour, Crooked Colours join the Grapevine family in 2019. After break-out hit singles ‘Come Down’, ‘Capricious’ and ‘Another Way’, the band released their second album 'Langata' last month, which is sure to serve as a soundtrack to their November and December sets.
Singer, songwriter and producer Mallrat began uploading anthemic laptop tunes as a 16-year-old in 2015; flash forward to 2018 and she’s taken the Splendour In The Grass stage and charted #7 in triple j’s hottest 100 with her track 'Groceries'. And she's headed to Europe for a 5-date tour next month.
So round up your Pinot pals and Grigio girls for a corker of culinary delights and beverages, while getting Merlot to the ripest musical talent on the vine.
