Dave adds Sydney and Melbourne shows to his SITG commitments.
The Splendour In The Grass sideshows just keep coming, welcoming South London grime emcee Dave, folk rockers The Lumineers and Jacob Banks into the extra-festival fold.
The three new additions add to a growing list of sideshows for this year's Splendour In The Grass, giving everyone who missed out on a ticket to the sold-out event a chance to see their favourite festival acts live.
At just 20 years of age, South London grime emcee Dave has quickly established himself as one of Britain’s most exciting new talents.
His debut album 'Psychodrama' topped the UK charts in its first week, making it the fastest streamed British debut album of all time. By continuing to boldly defy convention and refusing to compromise, Dave is constantly redefining the model of success within contemporary British music.
Thu 18 Jul - The Metro Theatre (Sydney) Sat 20 Jul - Croxton Bandroom (Melbourne)
Colorado folk rock favourites The Lumineers recently released the first single 'Gloria', from their upcoming third studio album 'III', due out this September. A conceptual album presented across three chapters, ‘III’ is audacious: every note, every syllable, and every moment of silence in between is emotionally charged.
This intimate performance is the only Australian headlining show for The Lumineers outside of Splendour In The Grass.
Mon 22 Jul - Enmore Theatre (Sydney)
Nigerian-born British singer-songwriter Jacob Banks will be extending his Australian trip this July with two theatre shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
Jacob's 14-track debut album 'Village' is a sprawling, deeply immersive experience on which his throaty, expressive baritone weaves its way through a mesmerising mix of musical styles and texture.
Sun 21 Jul - Oxford Art Factory (Sydney) Mon 22 Jul - Corner Hotel (Melbourne)
Tickets for Dave, The Lumineers and Jacob Banks SITG sideshows go on sale Tuesday 16 April.
