It's time to return to frosted tips, French-rolled jeans, neon windbreakers and fruit roll-ups… the '90s are back baby with a national tour celebrating the biggest pop names of the decade with a 'school disco that you'll wish never ends'.
So Pop will be a DeLorean trip back to when Aqua and Vengboys ruled the charts, cargo pants and butterfly clips were fashion 101s and 'Seinfeld' was 'THE' TV show.
The first batch of So Pop artists to visit Australia have collectively sold 120 million records globally, creating some of the biggest pop anthems of all time.
The aforementioned Aqua and Vengaboys will headline the 2019 So Pop tour, which will visit Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane this summer, alongside a '90s hall of fame class that includes Blue, B*witched, Eiffel 65 and Lou Bega. Massive feels.
Don't miss out on an epic night that will feature such chart-topping hits as 'Barbie Girl', 'Boom Boom Boom Boom!!', 'Get Down On It', 'To You I Belong', 'Blue (Da Ba Bee)' and 'Mambo No. 5 (A Little Bit Of…)'.
And just when you thought this early Christmas present couldn't get any better, So Pop will be hosted by Australian '90s children television royalty: Cheez TV MVPs Ryan Lappen and Jade Gatt. The dynamic duo will keep audiences on their toes delivering non-stop nostalgia gold from when doors open until the last confetti cannon blows.
So time to dig out the Game Boy (as a fashion accessory of course), top up your glitter stocks (there is no such thing as 'too much') and strap on those platforms (higher the better) because So Pop will be the throwback party of the year.
General tickets go on sale from Tuesday 16 October from 10am local time. Click here for more information.
