Globally adored for her commanding voice, virtuosic guitar work and uncompromising bravery, English singer-songwriter Anna Calvi is headed to Australia.
She'll be showcasing her 2018 album 'Hunter' this June as she pairs a performance at Tasmania’s beguiling Dark Mofo festival along with intimate shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
Hailed as “the best thing since Patti Smith” by Brian Eno, Anna's 'Hunter' explores freedom, identity and gender, and features production from Nick Launay (Midnight Oil, Arcade Fire and Yeah Yeah Yeahs).
The ten-track release featured the singles 'Don't Beat The Girl Out Of My Boy' and 'As A Man'.
Anna has drawn comparisons with passionate and brooding musicians Nick Cave and PJ Harvey, which speak volumes about her talent.
